We spent a week in Phoenix with my grandparents last week. It's sometimes nice to have a husband who travels, since we got to stay in great hotels and didn't have to pay! Gotta love it.
My grandparents are getting older, of course, and don't always have the patience with young children that they used to, but it was nice to visit with them. Tobey got a bit of an attitude, as of course everyone wants to play with and talk to the baby, but I think a good part of it was just the change of routine. It's rough being off track when you're 5!
Anyway, the weather was beautiful, and we ended up just hanging out at the park one afternoon.
Raynie had to check out the sand first. She ended up kicking sand all over the place, she loved it!
Tobey had a great time on the slides.
Raynie did her silly spider-crawl after the greats while they walked around the playground.
And Raynie watched Tobey swing for quite a bit before letting me put her in, then she had a grand time playing princess and leaning back as I pushed her.
We had such a nice time that we didn't want to come back!
